Doctrine of the Bible:
The Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God and preserved for English speaking people in the King James Version of the Bible. Therefore, it is the basis for any statement of faith (Psalms 12:6-7). It is inerrant and infallible. God’s Word is used for doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction (2 Timothy 3:16). The Holy Spirit inspired men to write not what they think but the actual words God would have them to say (2 Corinthians 2:13). It is an authoritative power (Revelation 2:19).
Doctrine of God:
There is only one God who is the creator of all things (Genesis 1). He is all powerful (Luke 1:37), omniscient (Job 37:16), omnipresent (Proverbs 15:3) and a triune God. He is three persons in one essence, not three individual God’s (1 John 5:7). God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit make up the Godhead. He is a loving God (John 3:16) but also a Holy God. Therefore, He loves man but hates sin (Romans 6:23, 2 Corinthians 5:21).
Doctrine of God the Father:
He is the Father of our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ and Father of all believers - those who become children of God through faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 8:15). He has power and complete control over the universe (Revelation 4:11). God the Father is the first part of the Godhead.
Doctrine of God the Son:
Jesus Christ is the son of God and the second part of the Godhead (John 10:30). He was conceived of God and born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life and worked his ministry fulfilling the will of the Father. He is 100% God and 100% man (John 8:58, John 1:14). The Lord Jesus made forgiveness of all sin through His death, burial and resurrection. He was our atonement (1 John 2:2). He reigns in Heaven and is on the right hand of God interceding for us (Romans 8:34).
Doctrine of God the Sprit:
The Spirit of God is the third person in the Godhead. He is the sole author of the Word of God. The Spirit convicts both the saved and unsaved and guides believers in truth as He dwells within us (1 Corinthians 6:19, 1 Corinthians 3:16). When Christ left the earth, He left us the Holy Spirit to reprove the world of sin, righteousness and judgement (John 16:8). At the time of salvation the Holy Spirit seals the believer and gives them eternal life (Ephesians 4:30).
Doctrine of Salvation:
A person can only be saved one way and that’s through Jesus Christ (John 14:6). One must realize that they are a sinner and must be willing to repent of their sin and understand that Christ died for their sin (Acts 4:12). One must trust in God and God alone.
Doctrine of Eternal Security:
Once the gift of salvation is given it can never be taken back or lost (John 10:29). A person cannot receive eternal life through their works therefore it is impossible to lose eternal life through their works (1 John 5:11-13).
Doctrine of Baptism:
After a person receives the Lord Jesus through salvation they should be baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit by emersion (Mathew 28:18-20, Colossians 2:12). This does not save a person but it serves as a sign of their faith for salvation (Acts 8:36-39).
Doctrine of Creation:
God created this universe in six days and the scriptures show no sign of anything between these days (Genesis 1, 2:2). God created everything from nothing (Hebrews 11:3).
Doctrine of Man:
God made man in His own image (Genesis 1:27). He gave man a free will making us responsible for our own decisions. After Adam sinned, every man born after him is a sinner because they were conceived in sin. A man is not a sinner because he sins, he’s a sinner because he’s a sinner (Psalm 51:5, Romans 5:12).
Doctrine of Hell:
Within God’s word, Hell is mentioned more than Heaven. It is a literal place but was not designed for mankind, rather the devil and his angels. Whoever rejects salvation by Jesus Christ will have their part in Hell, which is a place of eternal torment and fire (Revelation 20:10). Throughout all Christ’s parables he never mentions a name, we know Hell is a real place because in Luke 16 he gives an account of an actual person there in torments.
Doctrine of Heaven:
Heaven is a literal place designed God and his angels and also those who accept Him (John 14:1-3). It is the only escape from Hell. It is a place of worshipping God (Revelation 19:6-7), where sorrow and mourning shall be no more (Isaiah 51:11).
Doctrine of Marriage:
Marriage is God’s first institution and was designed for MAN and WOMAN. It is an abomination to God for it to be any other way (Leviticus 18:22). Husbands are commanded to love their wives and wives are commanded to obey their husbands (Ephesians 5:25, 5:22). Marriage is a representation of God and the church.
Doctrine of Abortion:
The scripture shows us that abortion is murder. Before you were born God knew you (Jeremiah 1:4-5). The human life begins at conception and a baby is then considered a human being (Luke 1:44). Murder is a premeditated killing of a human being. Abortion is a choice and a thought out process, not an accident. We believe abortion is against God’s will.
Doctrine of the Last Days:
Pre-tribulation is followed by seven years of tribulation. Those of us that are to be taken up by God will not have to endure the tribulation. It is written that no man will know the day or hour that Christ comes back to take up his chosen people (Mark 13:32, Matthew 24:36, 1 Thessalonians 4:14-17). There will be a thousand year reign when Satan will be bound and the saved will reign with Christ until Satan is loosed for the last time before God’s final judgement (1 Thessalonians 5:9), and the creation of the new Heaven (2 Thessalonians 1:7-10).
