At Camp Promised Land, our desire is to provide an affordable, yet, high quality camp experience for all that attend. Our biggest desire is that we can cultivate a place where God is welcome and present. We want to give Him the glory in all that is done. For it has been obvious that "This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes."

Meet the Chadinha’s
Mario and Emily Chadinha met at Camp Victory in Somerset, Ky in 2013. It was there that they realized the Lord was working on their hearts to be together. Camp has left a big impression on both of them and many life changing decisions have been made there.
Mario surrendered his life to the Lord in 2008 and the following year he felt the Lord's calling on his life to preach.
Although the Lord showed Mario in 2010 that he wanted him to have a camp of his own one day, it wasn't until the summer of 2021 that God revealed to Mario through scripture that it was now time to pursue this burden.
Mario and Emily married in Michigan on September 4, 2015. Mario was the assistant and youth Pastor at Highland Hills Baptist Church in Highland, MI for 3 years until the Lord called them to Silvery Lane Baptist Church in Dearborn Heights, MI where they both have served for 5 years. Emily served in the teen group along side of her husband and as the toddler Sunday School teacher.
The Lord has given them both the same burden to begin Camp Promised Land. A camp, where prayerfully, the same life changing decisions they've made will happen in the hearts of the young people that attend.
